Story told by Samuel Muren

Danish Ocean Cluster is a newly formed organization that wishes to strengthen relations between players utilizing the Danish fishing ports and being in ocean related industries such as fisheries, aquaculture, technology and energy.

The vision is a perfect match

The Cluster will have particular focus on innovative and circular business models and has a focus on stronger commercial ties within the North Atlantic region. The Danish Ocean Cluster will be part of a wider family of Ocean Clusters based in Iceland, Norway and Canada.

Onnest are members of the Danish Ocean Cluster both because of our geographic location, and because the visions and aims of the Ocean Cluster matches perfectly with those same visions and aims at Onnest.

Strong hubs and infrastructure

Being part of developing strong local hubs and infrastructure is important for what Onnest wants to be. We are aware that our activity will create further activity in related businesses, whether existing or new ones. To have such a meeting and development spot locally like the Danish Ocean Cluster, is therefore of high importance to us. We will therefore contribute as best as we can to keep the Cluster active and relevant. Find more info about the Danish cluster here.
